Education Commission Meeting

Within the framework of the Quality Assurance/Accreditation process, members of the Department Education Commission met on March 12, 2024 at 12.00 to evaluate the realization of the criteria specified in the Self-Assessment Report and to discuss the steps to be taken in preparation for the Fedek application.

External Stakeholder Meeting

An exchange of views was held with Hüseyin Şahin, Deputy Director of the İzmir Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, about joint studies.

Department Social Responsibility Meeting

Our department’s social responsibility commission meeting was held on March 7, 2024. Our meeting was attended by the faculty member and faculty members responsible for our department, as well as our students who are on the commission.

Focus Group Meeting with Students

A focus group meeting was held with the students of our department on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, where FEDEK accreditation information and student expectations were received.

Department Accreditation Meeting

DEU Department of Sociology faculty members met at the Sociology Seminar Room on Monday, March 5, 2024, at 12.00, regarding the accreditation process. At the meeting, the planned work/timetable, report writing task distribution, program objectives, and program outcomes regarding the FEDEK Accreditation Application process were decided. All academic staff of the department attended the meeting.

Department Quality Commission Meeting

Our department’s quality commission met on 27.02.2024 to evaluate one-year quality processes and discuss new puko cycles and suggestions. Assoc. Prof. Dr. attended the meeting. Nilüfer Özcan, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Gül Özateşler Ülkücan, Research Assistant. Dr. Gülşen Gürgen, Aleyna Çay (Undergraduate Student), Şükran Soyer (Undergraduate Student) and Çağlanur Yavuz (Undergraduate Student) attended.
