In our country, graduates of the Department of Sociology have job opportunities in the public and private sectors. Sociologists can work in the State Planning Organization, Turkish Statistical Institute, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Family and Social Policies and municipalities. They can also work as Philosophy Group Teachers by taking training under the conditions stipulated by the Ministry of National Education. In addition, media, political parties, advertising and public opinion research companies are other areas where sociology graduates have the opportunity to work.
